Don Shook

Don Shook founded MERIT Media Relations LLC in 1998 following his 14 years in corporate communications management with Golden, Colorado’s Adolph Coors Company. After his discharge from the U.S. Airforce and getting his Bachelor’s in Communications, Don worked for various TV news and motion pictures in multiple locations. Following his broadcasting tenure and before he went to work at Coors, he served 9 years with Colorado’s Jefferson County’s Sheriff Department where he ultimately became their first Public Information Officer (PIO) to interface with local, national and international news media.
