I always say that Addicts are some of the strongest people on the planet and they can do anything if they put their minds to it. I'm proof of that. What happened to me early on in my recovery has brought me here today. I did a TEDx talk in November of 2015 where I shared my story for the first time for 900 people, and talked about the stigma of addiction for the first time. That's really where the advocate in me was born. And I realized I could use my voice for good. Helping people is what I think the Universe created me for and I'm finally fulfilling that duty. Born in Massilon, Ohio DONTE STEWART started ARROW PASSAGE RECOVERY. "The epidemic is hitting my hometown and my state in a grand fashion," Stewart says. "Living in South Florida I see how many people from Ohio are coming down here for treatment. I wanted to bring a high end facility to my hometown." I lost my biological father from drugs," he said "I saw firsthand what happens when your God-0given talents are taken by this disease. It was choice to get involved (in drugs) but it will consume your mind, body and soul. I saw how it ruined a family, list job, marriage, everything under the Sun. I just want to do my part, even if it is just a small wave, if we can save a few lives.'
