Remaining faithful for life is a tall order. Statistically in the U.S., 41% of married people admit to either physical or emotional infidelity, and two thirds say they would have an affair if they knew they'd never be caught. In the last fifty years the definitions and styles of partnership have broadened to include gay, bisexual and transgender marriages, blended families, and cohabitation without marriage.
