Greg Gorbett is an Associate Professor in the Fire, Arson and Explosion Investigation degree Program at Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, Kentucky. He serves as a vice chair for the Fire and Arson Investigator Journal of the IAAI, as a principle member of NFPA 921-Guide for Fire and Explosion Investigations, and as a principle member of NFPA 1033-Standard for Professional Qualifications for Fire Investigator. Rodney Pevytoe

Started in law enforcement as a part-time Deputy Sheriff while attending the University of Wisconsin and earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice. In 1980 was hired a Special Agent with the Wisconsin Department of Justice Division of Criminal Investigation working in the Narcotics Bureau. In 1982 transferred to the Arson Bureau of the same Department with the responsibility to investigate fires and explosions in the State of Wisconsin. In 1982 joined the International Association of Arson Investigators (IAAI) and the Wisconsin Chapter of IAAI.
