The opioid epidemic and the different facets this non-profit advocated for action on which include: Accessible treatment & mental health services, harm reduction, more cautious prescribing of opioids, educating the public, reducing the stigma of addiction and drug use, making big pharma more accountable and better monitor their conflicts of interest, better surveillance and reporting of overdose deaths, better training for enforcement when investigating overdose deaths.
