She currently works with frail elders and older adults, especially those who have memory impairment. For the past seven years, she has been president of the Friends of the Portland Memory Garden, a non-profit organization whose mission is to enhance the lives of individuals with memory disorders and their caregivers by maintaining the garden and providing therapeutic and educational activities.
