However, the sad reality is that many pet’s go missing every year and they don’t always make it back home. Kat Albrecht is a former police detective, bloodhound handler, search-and-rescue manager, and founder of Missing Pet Partnership. Since 1997, Kat has worked to develop community-based lost pet services using innovative recovery techniques including forensics, behavior analysis, and search dogs trained to track lost pets.
