The Jeff Owens Radio Show will cover all sports from High School, Collegiate and Pro. Jeff and Tasha bring their knowledge of a variety of sports and enthusiasm to the show. We will focus mainly of South Eastern and East Coast sports. As the two hosts went to college together they will specialize in the University of Georgia sports scene. We’ll talk with active Collegiate and Pro players on the show our show will bring real insight to every major sporting event, from football to basketball or even golf. Pull up a chair and stay for a while.

Jeff Owens, with Co-Host Tasha Humphrey

Jeff Owens is from Fort Lauderdale Florida, and attended the University of Georgia where he majored in Early Childhood Family Development, with a minor in Consumer Economics. He was a Four Year Letterman in Football Freshmen All-American, and was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles as a seventh round pick. A member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Jeff worked with Habitat for Humanity building houses in Athens, Georgia. Jeff was named to the 2009 Allstate American Football Coaches Association Good Works Team and was tabbed by Sporting News as "SEC's Best Personality" in 2009. He attended SEC's media Day two years in a row and has a weekly segment on The Fan Sports Radio in Savannah, Georgia.

Tasha Humphrey is from Gainesville, Georgia and is a professional basketball player. She played the center position for the Washington Mystics in the WNBA until 2009. Her father is former Green Bay Packers player Donnie Humphrey.

Tasha completed her career as Georgia's second all-time scorer and fourth all-time rebounder. Humphrey scored her 1,000th point in just 53 games, the second fastest in school history.

Humphrey played for the USA team in the 2007 Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The team won all five games, earning the Gold Medal for the event.

Humphrey was selected the in the first round of the 2008 WNBA Draft by the Detroit Shock. Halfway through her rookie season, she was traded to the Washington Mystics. Her career high is 28 points.
