Jim Ryun As a human being, we all have the ability to be mindfully present, be actively aware of what we are doing and be aware of where we are in each of our available 1,440 daily moments. There is a choice to make within each of these precious moments. Are you mindfully present? Do you choose to pause, take a deep breath and say ahhhhh? Or do you constantly jump at the sound of your phone calling you to react to the various demanding sounds it makes? Like anything you teach yourself, the more that you practice being mindfully present the more that it is readily available to you along with your other senses. It might feel like you are venturing into new territory. But, as you choose to pay attention and explore how you feel at the beginning and end of each day, you will likely look forward to this new way of being.

d Lee is an author, talk show host and businesswoman infusing her life with positivity. From a very early age, she spent time in her father’s garden where she soaked up the positive beats of this busy environment. She learned the importance of systems, how to explore present moments with all of her senses, embrace inspiring possibilities, and take empowered action with an “I can do this” choice. This perspective has given her greater resilience, creativity, and joy in her life.
As an avid photographer, d Lee has spent years and countless hours walking the streets of her community capturing moments of life and time through her lens. Through this process, and through an immersion in Reiki, she naturally began living with more presence and awareness. Over time she recognized the value of being able to immerse herself in present moment awareness.
d Lee is authoring a series of mindful practice journals that help build habits of being present. She is populating the books with beautiful images from her photography collection, inspiring quotes on the focused topics and coloring pages to unleash your own colorful creativity.
