In this episode Zach is joined by Michelle English, the co-founder and clinical director of Healthy Life Recovery in San Diego, California. Michelle and Zach will be talking through how substance use disorder affects women differently than men, and how care can be specialized to better serve their needs. Following his conversation with Michelle, Zach is joined by Dr. Joseph DeSanto, an Addiction Specialist for the BioCorRx Recovery Program and the owner of DeSanto Clinics in Orange County, CA. Dr. DeSanto will be giving insight in to the ways teens are impacted by addiction, and how the young brain is affected differently that it would be in an older adult.

Zachary Crouch

Zachary Crouch

Zachary Crouch is the National Business Development Manager and former administrator for Landmark Recovery, a Louisville based residential program for drug and alcohol treatment. His background in the treatment field as a counselor includes work with the adolescent, adult and family population. Additionally, he also operated the acute medical detoxification unit for Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville. Zachary graduated with a Bachelors in Psychology and earned his Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2009.
