Episode Description

Goto https://owner.media/insiderwelcome/ to join Chris’ group Chris says that nobody knows who he is. I disagree. I met Chris originally on Twitter. Chris says that when he sees people on twitter trying to push the now 280 character limit, instead of “get a room” he thinks, “get a blog!” As a kid, Chris learned to ride a bike, and when he crashed it into his own house, and while crying hysterically, his mom came out and his reaction was to ask her to “move the house.” Chris had a very loving upbringing, almost to a fault. His parents gave him so much confidence, that he was in for a rude awakening at school. He thought he was so good looking that he asked out the hottest girl in the class. He didn’t get the girl :( He could have been like Hugh Hefner minus the girls, and anyone naked!

The Authentic Accountant Podcast

Archives Available on VoiceAmerica Business Channel

Most podcasts that talk to or about “successful people” focus on “what it’s like today.” This leaves out the most important parts of the picture, “What it WAS like, and what happened.” Our format concerns itself with all three parts of a person’s story, which is:

What it was like (where and how you got started)?”
What happened (what were some of the darkest times like, and how did you get through it)?
What it’s like today (what you bring to the table these days).

We want to inspire you by bringing out the parts of a person’s story that really made them who they are today. This is the part people can relate to, and the part we feel that other podcasts out there are missing big time.

It’s exciting to learn about how successful a person is, but it is inspiring to learn what things they did to overcome the things that were blocking them along the way, especially when many of us just need to get out of our own way!
