Today young people are being bombarded with more information at a higher rate of speed than any generation that has preceded them. News, video games, movies and music provide an ever-increasing flow of powerful messaging-- and the majority of it is negative. Hours a day of social media, gaming, and especially music are programming the minds of our teens, while many of them are unaware that it is even happening. Information which used to be more subliminal for the previous generation is now blatant and graphic: sex, drugs and violence is what sells and our youth are consuming it in mass quantities... Do you know what your kids are listening to? On this episode of Power of Peace Radio we will speak with Speech Thomas, Grammy award-winning hip hop artist and founder of the band Arrested Development. Speech will be discussing his successful music career and how his music is changing the world for peace. We will also discuss how YOU can get involved in the conversation with your teens.

Kit Cummings is an author, teacher, and founder of Power of Peace Project, Inc. Kit has worked with non-profits and fortune 500's over his 25 year career. Kit spreads a much needed message of peace, power and positive change all over the world.
