Joshua Greenbaum

Joshua Greenbaum, founder of Enterprise Applications Consulting (EAC), has been in the enterprise software space for over 30 years as a computer programmer, systems analyst, author, consultant, and industry analyst. Having helped pioneer coverage of the enterprise software market in the late 1980s – following now-defunct companies like D&B and Cullinet, as well as Apple, Hewlett-Packard, IBM, Microsoft, Oracle, Sybase, and others – he moved to Europe in 1991, where he worked as an industry analyst and European correspondent for Information Week and other publications. Josh wrote the first technical analysis of SAP’s R/3 enterprise software suite, establishing him as a leading expert in the market. He founded EAC in 1998 and has been a pioneering independent analyst and consultant ever since. Early in his career, as a statistical analyst for the U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services, Josh realized how hard it was for smart people to understand how to best use complex data.
