Yehoram Uziel

Yehoram Uziel was born and raised in Israel. He served as an officer in the Israeli army in combat capacity in three wars. Yehoram graduated from the Technion, Israel institute of Technology and started his professional career as a research engineer in Rafael (Israeli government R&D agency). In 1980, together with Dr. Barak and Mr. Bin Nun, they started a company, Optrotech, a pioneer in Printed circuit Board automatic testing equipment. In 1989, Yehoram took a leave from Optrotech to turn around 3D Systems Inc., a California company that pioneered rapid prototyping. After a successful turn- around of the 3D systems, Yehoram founded Soligen, Inc. Soligen pioneered digital manufacturing of casting molds for the metal casting industry, became a public corporation as Soligen Technologies Inc., in 1992. In late 2005, Yehoram closed down Soligen technologies, Inc. and founded DC Partners, Inc. (dba Soligen) in 2006, a private corporation that is a successor company to Soligen Technologies. Yehoram serves as a mediator in the superior court of California, and he was named the mediator of the year. He is an avid pilot, volunteers his time and airplane for mercy missions and was the President of the Flying Samaritans International for 4 years. As well, Yehoram serves on several boards and assists other CEO as an advisor and consultant.
