Miriam Jiménez Román
Miriam Jiménez Román is Executive Director of afrolatin@ forum, an educational resource center on Black Latin@s. A frequent speaker and consultant on African American and Latin@ issues, her essays on diasporic racial formations and inter-ethnic relations appear in scholarly and popular media. They co-edited The Afro-Latino Reader: History and Culture in the United States, a 2011 American Book Award.
