Simon Paris, Global Head of Banking at SAP, is responsible for SAP´s end-to-end footprint and ambition in the banking market, which today covers more than 3,000 banking clients. Simon´s management team incorporates all industry, development, support, partner and other SAP organizations. Leveraging SAP´s unparalleled set of solutions, capabilities and global capacity, the overall objective for Simon and the banking leadership team is to help banking customers in two main dimensions: transform their legacy core applications to meet the industry drivers of regulatory compliance, reduced cost and complexity, and increased customer centricity; and accelerate their modernization, standardization and innovation to more rapidly address the IT drivers of cloud, big data, mobile, consumerization of IT and social media.
