Massimo Sterpi

Massimo Sterpi Massimo is specialized in intellectual property and has substantial experience in transactional matters and litigation on trademarks, designs, copyright and patents. He advises on complex issues involving IP rights, new technologies and media. He has litigated 100s of infringement cases, most involving famous brands, designs, patents and copyrights, before national and international courts. A passionate art collector, he has also developed a renowned art law practice, representing world famous artists, institutions and collectors. In 2011 he was voted "Italian IP lawyer of the Year" by the renowned legal magazine, Top Legal. He is a contributor to many publications and a frequent speaker at international conferences. Massimo is included in WIPO's lists of IP Arbitration & Mediation and Art & Cultural Heritage neutrals. He is a Council Member of Marques (Assn of European Trade Mark Owners) and President of the Internat'l Bar Assn’s Committee on Art, Heritage Law & Cultural Institutions.
