Jack Higginbotham

Jack Higginbotham is President of Paul Reed Smith Guitars, Limited Partnership, a manufacturer of high-end musical instruments and equipment in Stevensville, Maryland. Jack has worked in a variety of positions since its inception in 1985 including Guitar Builder, Project Manager, Purchasing Manager, Sales, Production Manager, and VP of Manufacturing. In his current position as President, held since 2002, Jack has managed significant growth. PRS Guitars employs about 230 people who skillfully produce around 1,000 electric guitars each month. In early 2009, PRS officially added both acoustic guitar and amplifier production lines, both have received industry accolades at major trade shows. Jack serves as a Commissioner for the Maryland Advisory Commission on Manufacturing Competitiveness, a commission charged with advising the Secretary of Business and Economic Development with regards to manufacturing. He resides in Centreville, Maryland with his wife and six children.
