Dana Hentges Sheridan
General Counsel and Director of Corporate Risk Evaluation dsheridan@activecaptive.com Dana has been involved in risk management for nearly two decades. Dana’s background includes a bachelor of arts in English and Philosophy, minor in Psychology from College of St. Catherine, Phi Beta Kappa; Juris Doctor degree from William Mitchell College of Law, Cum Laude. Member of the California Bar, Minnesota Bar, U.S District Court for the District of Minnesota, and the Central, Northern and Eastern Districts of the federal courts in California. Her publications include contributing author to Chapter 38, “Understanding Errors and Omissions Insurance,” New Appleman Insurance Practice Guide, Volume 3 (2007), and editor for Tressler LLP Specialty Lines Advisory for specialty lines clients. Dana is a frequent speaker to U.S. and Bermuda based insurance carriers on coverage issues, marketplace and legal trends, and/or claims and regulatory issues. Dana was also recognized as a 2011 “Top Lawyer” and elected as a Southern California Super Lawyer “Rising Star” in 2007, 2009 and 2010.
