Lynn Garson
Lynn Garson graduated from Tulane University with a degree in art history and holds a law degree from Emory University School of Law. She has lived in Paris, New York, and Hong Kong and currently lives in Atlanta, Georgia. She is a practicing healthcare attorney with a prominent national law firm. In her earlier days as a retailer, she owned one of Atlanta’s best-known gift and tabletop stores. Recently, Lynn published her first book, Southern Vapors, which chronicles her rise and fall - from silver spoon to straitjacket and back. She details the privileges of her upbringing, the slow decline that eventually saw her treated in a low-income mental health facility, and her empowering comeback. Lynn plans to continue her work as a healthcare attorney while also sharing her story in hopes that - through her struggles - she can influence positive change and encourage more people to find their comeback stories.
