Peter Kranzler
While on vacation years ago, Peter Kranzler got copy of the Wall Street Journal, for the first time, having no idea at the time that this would be a life-changing event, leading to a lifetime fascination with investing and finance. He was in media sales management for years, while gaining experience managing his own portfolio. He initially made a number of mistakes, but learned from those mistakes to develop an investment strategy which uses broad diversification to harvest the returns which the markets offer, rather than trying to out-guess the markets through stock picking and market timing. He realized this ambition when he left the media industry in 2010 to be Managing Director of Lifetime Capital Group. He started his own firm, San Mateo Capital Management LLC, in 2012, providing financial planning and asset management to individuals and families, and those approaching retirement. Peter’s formal education ended in 1976, when he graduated magna cum laude from Amherst College.
