Sam Sciacca
Sam Sciacca is CEO of SCS Consulting LLC. He is a registered professional engineer with more than 25 years of experience in all aspects of electric utility operations, both domestic and international. He is past Board member of the IEEE-Standards Association, and serves as a current member of the US National Committee of the International Electrotechnical Commission. Mr. Sciacca is a frequent speaker and presenter at conferences and proceedings around the world, specializing in Smart Grid and Cyber Security, including China, India, Korea, Japan, Europe, North and South America. He also serves as an advisor for companies seeking to develop international markets for electric utility products and services. He is Chairman of the Power System Relaying H13 Subcommittee developing cyber security standards for electric substations, and is Chair of the Substations Committee C1 Working Group which has developed cyber security requirements for utility intelligent electronic devices.
