Tamara Grand

Tamara Grand is a Certified Personal Trainer, Group Fitness Instructor, freelance writer and author of the newly released Ultimate Booty Workouts. She’s also the voice behind the popular fitness and healthy lifestyle blog Fitknitchick, where she regularly shares free workouts, exercise tricks, clean eating recipes and motivational tips. Tamara’s writing is often fueled by research developments in the health and fitness fields; with a PhD in Biology, she’s uniquely capable of translating scientific jargon into language we can all understand and use. Although Tamara has trained clients of all ages and fitness levels, she’s particularly passionate about helping women in their 40s and 50s identify and pursue their own unique health and fitness goals. As a MenoFitness graduate, much of her recent writing has focused on the hormonal causes of weight gain around menopause, including the essays “Why nutrition matters even more now” and “Exercise for hormonal balance”.
