Joan Grinzi received her RN degree in Albany, New York in 1974. She worked in major hospitals in New York and California in a variety area of areas of nursing including oncology, cardiology, neurology, orthopedics, OB/GYN, pediatrics and ICU.
She then broadened her experience to include marketing through sales in the real estate industry in San Diego, CA. This enabled her to combine her business and nursing experience where she spent the next 23 years in the medical field working in administration, business development, community and professional education, marketing, and integrative medicine. This included 12 years as the Director of Business Development for hospice.
She also received training in Healing Touch and Reiki, but her passion was always in nutrition.
In 1986, she discovered the Price-Pottenger Nutrition Foundation and served on their board of directors for 18 years. In 2005, Joan became their Executive Director, where her greatest joy comes from helping people attain optimal health through prevention and reversal of disease.
