Tonya McLaughlin
Tonya McLaughlin has been practicing the Healing arts throughout her life. She received the name Aumakua Healing for her Healing Arts Practice which means "Ancestral Healing or healing by one's Guides". She believes that the healing that comes through her is from the Universal Energy only whether its her land based traditional practices, Reiki Or Hawaiian LomiLomi & Laulima (Heartworks Linegae from Maui).
A Retired nurse of 20 years, with mental health/crisis response as her specialty. She is a Reiki Teacher practicing Usui and Komyo since 2009 and more recently Karuna Reiki®. |She teaches Healing Arts Workshops and retreats, is a Reiki Doula and Meditation Coach.
In these most recent years, Tonya spends her free time writing, reading, and enjoying moments with her family. As we say in Hawaii "the Ohana". Graduate of the JIBC's Aboriginal Focusing Oriented Therapy and Complex Trauma program, Master Instructor of the Martial Art of Taekwondo and the Wise Woman Way of Birthing Doula
