Cynthia Smith

After retiring from Intellectual Property law in 2006, Cynthia Smith downsized her lifestyle, and went back to school. She studied Chinese Medicine at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine for 2 years. After seeing a NOVA special called “Ghost in Your Genes”, it was off to the races with respect to genetics. The NOVA Special piqued her interest and passion, so she shifted her focus away from Chinese Medicine to nutritional impacts on genetic expression, and began augmenting classes in biochemistry, and all things nutrition. She studied nutrition both through Chicago City Colleges and Huntington College of Health Sciences and obtain her Certified Clinical Nutritionist (CCN) certification. Cynthia co-authored the SNPBit Compendium 1 with Sterlling Hill. Cynthia can be reached viawww.lifezonewellness.com and she can be reached at c.smith@lifezonewellness.com.
