Nicholas Lessa, MA, LCSW, CASAC
Nicholas Lessa has been managing high quality, outpatient treatment centers for substance use disorders in New York since 1991. Mr. Lessa is currently the Chief Executive Officer and partner of Inter-Care, Ltd., with outpatient treatment programs in mid-town Manhattan and Westchester. He is a licensed clinical social worker, a master’s level psychologist, and a credentialed alcohol and substance abuse counselor. He is the lead author of two books: Wiley Concise Guides to Mental Health: Substance Use Disorders and Living with Alcoholism and Drug Addiction. Mr. Lessa is an Associate Adjunct Professor at New York University’s Silver School of Social Work and Adelphi University’s School of Social Work.
