Eliot Cowan
Eliot Cowan rediscovered the spiritual healing potential of plants in 1986. Shamanisitic approach is wedded with Classical Chinese medicine to bring forth what he calls "Plant Spirit Medicine". Cowan's work as a healer in that medium brings deep healing to many.
His classes and talks, as well as his book, PlantSpirit Medicine, are open doors to the wisdom of plants and the entire natural world.
Mr. Cowan is also an initiated elder medicine man in the tradition of the indigenous Huichol people of Mexico.
Cowan has helped make Huichol knowledge and healing widely available for the first time.
Today Eliot serves his people as healer, teacher and supporter of the Blue Deer Center, which he founded as a home for ancient wisdom teachings and practices.
