Dr. Oren Amitay
Dr. Oren Amitay is a registered psychologist who works with a diverse group of clients in individual, couples and family counselling; he also conducts psychological, personality, intelligence, emotional intelligence and parenting capacity assessments, often appearing in Court as an expert witness.
He has taught 20 different psychology courses (e.g., clinical psychology, abnormal psychology, psychological disorders, personal growth and positive psychology, personality, social psychology, psychology of addictions, introductory psychology, human sexuality, psychology of gender, statistics, research) approximately 170 times at five different universities in Ontario.
Dr. Amitay’s professional knowledge and experience have helped him become one of Canada’s most frequently requested media consultants, averaging about three to four TV, radio and newspaper interviews per week with all of Canada’s major media outlets.
