Brittney Garrett


Sergeant Brittney Garrett joined the Jeffersontown Police Department in July 2007. She served four years as a late-watch patrol officer and three years as a mid-watch patrol officer prior to her promotion to Administrative Sergeant in August 2015. Sergeant Garrett serves as the civilian staff supervisor, patrol technology and body camera coordinator, and community project liaison. Sergeant Garrett has a Bachelor's Degree in Justice Administration from the University of Louisville and a Master's Degree in Organizational Leadership from Colorado State University-Global Campus.
Sergeant Garrett is the project coordinator for the Jeffersontown Angel Program, an innovative community invested and police-led program that connects persons struggling with addiction to treatment options in the community.
