Peter Akbar has twenty years at SAP successfully engaging with customers, partners and stakeholders at all levels to create proven innovations for the fashion industry. Peter’s highlights include thought leadership for Fashion companies, brands and retailers; leading the creation of the world’s first vertical fashion solution to enable fashion retail, fashion wholesale and manufacturing to Run Simple; driving the global adoption of SAP S/4HANA Fashion and Vertical Business; and leading SAP’s premier influence channels: SAP Fashion Council, the Apparel, Footwear and Fashion ASUG User Group and the European Fashion User Group. Peter’s original fashion experience came from retailer Marks and Spencer in London, UK. Since then Peter has greatly enjoyed leading roles in SAP Development and SAP Solution Management in the UK, US and in Germany where Peter learned German.
