Michael Oden


Michael is a Behavioral Specialist with over 20 years as a Probation Officer for the Los Angeles County, who holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA and a Masters of Art in Counseling Psychology from National University in Los Angeles, CA. Michael is a certified trainer for Law Enforcement in The Herrmann Brain Dominance Instrument® HBDI Thinking Styles and a Training Provider for the State of California Board of State and Community Corrections workshop “Learning and Thinking Styles for Law Enforcement”. He is the founder of Final Step, an Emotional Awareness program that focus on healing and shifting childhood and adult trauma into a successful adulthood. He details his knowledge in his award-winning book When Nobody’s Home as the first book of a connected series that strives to educate and inspire those who are impacted by unwanted behavior and offer a way to rise above it consciously and live an emotional free.
