Naomi George, MD, MPH
Dr. Naomi George is an emergency medicine and critical care physician in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She is also an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine and Critical Care Medicine and researcher at the University of New Mexico. Dr. George received her Medical Degree from Columbia University, her Master’s in Public Health from the Harvard School of Public Health and completed her fellowship in Critical Care Medicine at Brown University. Her areas of interest are in geriatrics and palliative care. Her research focuses on advanced care planning and decision-making regarding use of life-sustaining treatments in older adults and those with serious illness. Her published articles educate emergency room physicians in having goals-of care conversations and assessment of patients with significant palliative care needs.
