Mike Acerra
Mike is an educator, trained artist, innovator, and entrepreneur. Inspired by his sons, he and his wife, Heather, began to explore a new way to teach and learn using first principles at the core. He has helped many teachers and STEM program coordinators excite students about the STEM disciplines with his invention Lux Blox. He and Heather designed Lux Blox to replicate nature at a molecular level, and with its snapping patented hinge, students can create models that move, bend and fold, allowing for a build experience which utilizes modern engineering principles.
