Lynée Alves
Lynée Alves is a successful and sought-after career coach. Her mission is to help people have more positive, productive, and successful job searches. Lynée made the shift to career coaching following a 29-year career in Corporate America. For more than 20 years, she was a hiring manager who recruited, interviewed, and hired top talent at Fortune 50 and 500 companies (including the Chicago Tribune and Comcast) as well as at a startup that went global (LivingSocial - the #2 player during the height of the Daily Deals industry). Lynée is currently the “Career Coach” for CBS2 Chicago, where she partners with the news team to produce weekly segments focusing on practical and proven job search tips and strategies for consumers. Lynée received her degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and she lives in the suburbs of Chicago with her husband, her 2 adult children, and her dog Sadie.
