Christina Ursin

Christina Ursin was diagnosed with breast cancer at 35 and then with metastatic breast cancer at 38. During her cancer journey she had a double mastectomy followed by two failed reconstruction attempts. This resulted in her having to go flat. She became frustrated with a lack of functional and flattering clothing both for herself and others that have experienced various breast cancer related surgeries and treatments. She is currently working on creating a clothing line for women with breast cancer. This clothing line will contain garments with special features meeting women’s needs as they go through and after treatment. Christina is a 38-year-old Iowa native who currently resides in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She has a Bachelor’s in Psychology and a Master’s in Business Administration. Christina spent 13 years working at Tulsa Community College in various positions, including that of Project Coordinator for the Vice President. While working at the college she concurrently worked 10 years in retail for Express and Michael Kors, where she developed a love for fashion. Christina is hoping this clothing line will help the breast cancer community feel seen, heard, and beautiful.
