Dan Siegel is a physician and a board-certified child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist whose pioneering work on bringing brain science into the practice of psychotherapy has made him a well-known speaker throughout the world. Dr. Siegel is the founding editor of a series of over a dozen books for mental health practitioners in the emerging field of interpersonal neurobiology. He is the author of the The Developing Mind and The Mindful Brain, and is a clinical professor at the UCLA school of medicine.
