Michael Anderson
Michael Anderson is an accomplished corporate executive, entrepreneur, and business consultant. Recently, he was honored and named BUiLT 2021 Speaker of the Year! With over 25 years of Information Technology experience, he applies clever and innovative methods to leverage his expertise for extraordinary outcomes. He specializes in risk management, cybersecurity, compliance, and privacy. Michael instructs security practitioners across the US on how to align cybersecurity safeguards with the organization’s strategic vision. He currently serves as CISO at Dallas ISD the second-largest school district in Texas. Michael has a master’s degree in Information Systems and Technology Management from Capella University with numerous certifications. When Michael isn’t evangelizing, he enjoys spending time with his family, mindfulness coaching, and making music.
