Scott Nelson
Dr. Nelson is a second generation Health Care Practitioner. His Father Milton Nelson was a Naturopathic Physician so grew up in the natural health care field and went to many seminars with his father in his growing up years. Dr. Nelsons professional career started with his attending Western States Chiropractic College in Portland Or in 1976. He graduated in 1979 with a Chiropractic Degree. He came to Idaho and set up practice in 1980 with his father. Dr. Nelson is married to his sweetheart Vicki for 39 years, 5 wonderful children, and 22 grandchildren. Over the years Dr. Nelson has obtained numerous postgraduate certifications in Chiropractic orthopedist in 1988, Acupuncture Diplomat from the NCCAOM, Diplomat with the American Board of Chiropractic Acupuncture, Neural Therapy and Mesotherapy in 2007, Medical Ozone Therapy in 2010, and is a certified DOT Medical Examiner in 2014. Dr Nelson has licenses in Chiropractic, Acupuncture and Naturopathic Medicine Dr Nelson has been active in his profession with holding positions of District president of the Idaho chiropractic association numerous times, Vice president of the Idaho Chiropractic Association, President of the Idaho Chiropractic Association. Received recognition for the association for Presidential Live Time Service Award, and Chiropractor of the Year Dr Nelson has continued in staying current in his field with postgraduate education and seminars. He has been a part of the West clinic for nearly a decade.
