Sue Ann Van Dermyden
Sue Ann Van Dermyden, Esq, a licensed attorney since 1993, is a founding partner of VanDermyden Block in Sacramento, CA. She specializes in employment law and litigates employment matters in state and federal courts and in administrative forums. Her expertise includes highly complex or sensitive workplace investigations and is an experienced trial litigator. She is skilled in negotiation and resolving matters before the necessity of legal intervention and often testifies as an expert witness. She lectures on employment law compliance, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, leaves of absence and wage and hour issues. Formerly from North Dakota, Van Dermyden holds a Bachelors of Political Science, a minor in Business Administration and a Juris Doctorate from Sacramento’s McGeorge Law School. She is a licensed private investigator, is on the Board of Directors of CA Assoc of Workplace Investigators, CA State Bar Labor & Employment Section, as well as other professional affiliations.
