Dean Beers
Dean A. Beers, CLI, CCDI is an expert in death investigation and personal injury causation. He is a Board Certified Legal Investigator (CLI) as well as a certified Medicolegal Death Investigator. Dean is also an expert on investigation techniques and principles. He has authored three books - Practical Methods for Legal Investigations: Concepts and Protocols in Civil and Criminal Cases, Professional Investigations: Individual Locates, Backgrounds and Assets & Liabilities, and most recently A Survivors' Guide to Understanding Death Investigations, co-authored with his wife. Founded in 1987, Dean operates his private investigative agency with his wife Karen S. Beers, BSW, CCDI. Together, they developed Death Investigation for Private Investigators distance learning and continuing education. He is currently the President of the National Council of Investigation & Security Services (NCISS) and holds positions in multiple national and international professional associations.
