When "moving pictures" were the newest form of technology some centuries ago, the earliest film
makers gravitated toward horror films. Film students study the earlliest cult flicks today including Nosferatu. Frankenstein, The Mummy, The Werewolf, and Dracula are evergreen movie classics.
Today's "slasher film" category can sell millions at the box office while new technology allow film makers to make these movies for as low as $20,000.00.
