Let’s get real.
Boomers Need Their Second Wind. Most people don’t have their greatest success or reach their highest level of achievement on their first endeavor. For most of us there’s a lot of learning and yearning and even failure before true success. There are very few people that reach the top as teenagers or young adults. Unless you’re an Olympian or a Rock Star, your greatest success is down the road. Let’s embrace that and take that journey together. There are many lessons to be learned in life and experience can be an incredible teacher if you’re ready and willing to learn.
Gene’s radio show, Second Wind Success, is dedicated to discovering the lessons others have learned to reach their greatest level of success. What mistakes they’ve made, so you can learn what to avoid, and understand what to emulate and model.
Tune in to Second Wind Success, broadcasting every Wednesday at 12 Noon Pacific Time on the VoiceAmerica Variety Channel.
Gene Guarino is the host of Second Wind Success which is focused on Helping Baby Boomers catch their Second Wind in Business and Life. Be inspired by their stories and life lessons, and ultimately be inspired to reach even higher levels of success in your life too.
Gene, like many people, found his greatest success after he reached the age of 50. He found it in the field of Assisted Living. It’s not just about the money, which is tremendous. It’s about discovering your passion, doing something that is bigger than yourself. It’s about doing good AND doing well.
Today, Gene not only owns and operates his own assisted living homes, he teaches and trains others how to do it too. He's the founder of the Residential Assisted Living Academy. As the leading authority on the topic, he has been invited to speak all across the country and internationally as well.
Gene has been married for 31 years to the love of his life and he is the proud father of four amazing kids and is blessed with his first grandchild.
Gene lives by the motto that you can do and achieve anything you want in life but it is better to learn from other people’s mistakes then it is to learn from your own. It is the journey and not the destination that truly matters.
