Episode Description

Mike Abadir and Gino Buccola will be joined LIVE with special guest, Josh Booty. Josh, a former 1st round pick and World Series winner with the Florida Marlins, and a star QB at LSU, also played in the NFL with the Seahawks, Browns, and Raiders. He will discuss being a two-sport star, meeting expectations by making it to the major leagues by the age of 20, and of leading a Nick Saban coached LSU team as their starting QB. We will also ask Josh about the upcoming baseball pennant chases, and get his predictions on the playoffs and World Series. Having played major college football, Josh will discuss the previous and current week's matchups, and give the audience insight into who are the rising teams. We will also preview all the big NFL games for the upcoming weekend. All this and more when Josh Booty joins Mike and Gino on The Mike Abadir Show!

Having grown up with a passion for horse racing, baseball, soccer, and basketball, Mike engages in dialogue covering relevant hot topics, as well as interviewing television personalities and business experts for their detailed insight. Weekly features include a horse racing report with long-time TVG host, Gino Buccola, and much more.

Mike Abadir, a unique and polished negotiator in the areas of sports and real estate contracts, brings his voice to sports radio. His vast experience started as an intern with the Oakland Raiders and has continued to develop as a NFL player agent. He’s always held firm to his mission, which is to work with the athlete to be the best football player on and off the field. Based on his business knowledge and the intricacies of the NFL salary cap, Mike has provided expert analysis on the topic at numerous sports industry seminars, radio shows, and television appearances as a guest NFL player agent.

Mike graduated from U.C. San Diego and later received his law degree from John F. Kennedy University School of Law. Mike is certified as a player-agent by the National Football League Players Association, and currently resides in Los Angeles, California.

Josh Booty


Josh Booty, a former first round pick and World Series Champion with the Florida Marlins, and also selected in the NFL draft by the Seattle Seahawks, is one of the most remarkable two-sport athletes of our time. One of the most prolific high school passers ever, Bill Walsh labeled him the greatest high school QB of all-time, as he was named to the Dick Butkus National High School All-Time Team alongside only Joe Namath and John Elway. He was also a Parade Magazine Player of the Year in both Football and Baseball - the only athlete ever to do so.
He made it to the major leagues by 20 in '94, won a W.S. in '97, and went to LSU to play QB in 2000 under Nick Saban, before making it to the NFL. Two of his brothers also played in the NFL, John David most recently after starring at USC.
Josh has worked with major media networks such as ESPN, FOX Sports, MLB Network, and CBS Sports. He currently is a co-host on "The Franchise" on SBNation Radio. View Guest page

Morris Bradshaw


Morris Bradshaw, a Senior Administrator for the Oakland Raiders, who also currently serves as the Director of Alumni Relations, is one of the longest tenured members of the storied Raiders organization. Drafted out of Ohio St. in the 1974 NFL Draft, Morris played Wide Receiver for the Raiders from 1974-1981 (and ’82, Patriots). A two-time Super Bowl Champion (SB XI, XV), Morris played during an era which was rich in winning tradition, alongside future Hall of Famers, and for two legendary Head Coaches in John Madden and Tom Flores. A true Raider, one of the many facts that make Morris’ career with the organization unique is that he played with the team in Oakland, and has been in the front office with the club in Los Angeles and Oakland; and in a short time, will join the team in Las Vegas. Aside from his championships, he lists the opportunity to light the torch in honor of Al Davis prior to the Raiders preseason game with the Cardinals at the Coliseum amongst his coolest memories. Adrian Ross


Born in Santa Clara, CA, Adrian entered college as a “walk on” and left Colorado St. as the 4th all‐time sacks leader, graduating with a degree in Animal Science. Playing all LB positions for the Cincinnati Bengals, Adrian showed he was one of the hardest hitters in the NFL for six seasons. In 2000, he founded the Maddbacker Foundation, which aims to open doors through education and athletics in order to empower, enrich and inspire young people through programs in literacy, academic achievement, and workshops in leadership. In 2013, Adrian became a NFLPA Certified Contract Advisor, and is now the owner of 3D Sports & Entertainment. He currently represents Kevin Bowen, OL with the Washington Redskins. His social media videos breaking down game film have been a big hit over the years. Todd Schrupp


Todd Schrupp, one of the longest tenured on-air talents on TVG, has been a TV Host for over 18 years. He has covered Group 1 horse races from all over the world, and as TVG has grown to become America’s most watched horse racing network, his work has also been simulcast live on Fox Sports. He fell in love with the races after going to Del Mar with his father as a child. His career in racing started at Canterbury Downs (now Canterbury Park) as their in-house analyst. In 1991, he made his way to Miami to work as the in-house handicapper and backup track announcer at Calder Race Course. In 1999, he moved to Los Angeles for his breakthrough opportunity in television at TVG. Since then, he’s hosted countless programs, and covered all of the Triple Crown races as well as the Breeder’s Cup Championships. Todd’s unique approach to TV is brought out by his sense of humor, vast vocabulary, and his ability to connect with the audience about anything ranging from sports to pop culture. View Guest page
