Living Your Creativity: Take Risks, Experiment, Have Fun!
November 29, 2021
Hosted by akaRadioRed
akaRadioRed welcomes three outspoken creatives. Mary Oves is head writer of the lifestyle blog The Chrysalis Collective, a freelance journalist, college professor of English, a contributor to the Erma Bombeck Humor Writer's Guild, and a presenter at global Soaring Spirits events. She is the author of This is Widowhood: The Ups, the Downs, the In-Betweens, coming in 2022. Eddie Goodman started the Conflict Resolution Support Team (CRST) Safe Schools Program in California schools to keep kids safe, instill positive discipline and provide structure, and then creatively got funding to add mentoring. He created the Earn Our Trust app to promote African American owned businesses making a positive community impact. Ela Badura, a certified spiritual healer, relationship coach, and author of Stay in the Marriage or Let It Go, empowers people who are ‘pushovers’ to take their power back. When Ela put her vision board dreams on a Christmas tree, her “light dreams” came true, including a surprising talent for song writing. Read My Lips – Cool Conversations with Creatives
Monday at 4 PM Pacific Time/7 PM Eastern Time on VoiceAmerica Empowerment Channel
Welcome to Read My Lips Radio. Producer and host akaRadioRed loves her live, unscripted conversations with smart, savvy, creative people including novelists, artists, photographers, fashion and interior designers, game creators, winemakers, comedians, actors, dancers, musicians, composers, filmmakers, screenwriters, directors and even technology innovators. akaRadioRed wants to know what makes them tick, where they find their inspiration, when creativity became their passion, and how their creative process can inspire the rest of us to think out-of-the-box. Read My Lips Radio is never a scripted yada-yada Question and Answer session, promising a fun conversation that can take surprising turns. Enjoy akaRadioRed’s lively Cool Conversations with Creatives on Mondays at 4 PM Pacific and 7 PM Eastern on the VoiceAmerica Empowerment Channel. Oooh! How those lips can talk!
akaRadioRed is an accidental radio and TV creator, producer and host who began her media career in the late 1990s (she will reveal the year in exchange for good dark chocolate). Despite growing up shy (hard to believe) on Long Island, New York, she eventually found her “voice” through a range of expressive outlets: graphic designer, entertainment reporter and photographer, bachelor auction MC, newspaper reporter, author interviewer, standup comic, romantic comedy playwright, watercolor and mixed media artist, marketing writer and editor, and most recently, rock ‘n’ roll and blues ChickDrummer with sassy red boots to match her hair. By day, under a different name, she is the producer and host of 50 enterprise technology thought leadership roundtable series at VoiceAmerica Business since 2011. akaRadioRed is excited to bring Read My Lips Radio: Cool Conversations with Creatives to the VoiceAmerica Empowerment Channel.
