Teen Wealth inspires teens through sharing of stories and ideas, while tackling the tough subjects that our teens are confronted with. Each week we focus on different themes such as Eating Disorders, Mental Health, Entrepreneurship, Physical Health, Bullying, Self Esteem, LGBT, Money, Sex and Parenting. Within each theme, our different hosts share stories, tips and advice from their own personal experiences and we also invite parents, teachers and teens to share their own stories. Each week we choose a book and movie of the week, as well as issue a weekly challenge to teens so they can then share their results on our private Teen Wealth Radio Show Facebook Group. Our favorite section of the show is our Everyday Heroes section, where we highlight young people that are positively making a difference in our world.

Tyler says: I am a 17 year old senior at Jericho High School in Long Island, NY. I have grown up with many childhood challenges, and have used those challenges to succeed in areas such as cooking, world languages, fitness, and writing. About a year and a half ago I started a food blog on Instagram with the hopes of inspiring young cooks across the country and giving helpful meal ideas to anyone interested in cooking, or simply anyone interested in looking at tasty pictures of food. Though I do not aspire to cook professionally, I hope to cook throughout my entire life and make a difference in the way that people nourish their bodies. I will be attending Yale in the fall, and will most likely study political science and global affairs while in college. Also, here is the link to a little article that was published several years ago after being a contestant on Food Network's Chopped: http://www.li-tsa.org/html/inthenews.html Follow him on Instagram: @youthfulcooking View Guest page

In the early 1960’s, over 13,000 babies around the world were born with deformities as a direct result of Thalidomide – a drug prescribed to relieve morning sickness. Alvin Law was one of them. In his case, just a couple of the tiny pills were enough to cause him to be born without arms.
Alvin Law has been presenting his compelling life story to groups across Canada, the United States and around the globe since 1981. He is a trained broadcaster, fundraiser and musician. He has also worked for non-profit groups, in advertising and public relations, the civil service, and has even run for public office (unsuccessfully, but he got over it).
He has earned the designation of Certified Speaking Professional (CSP), an honour possessed by less than ten percent of professional speakers worldwide. In 2009, Alvin was inducted into the Canadian Association of Speakers (CAPS) Hall of Fame.
He shares his life with his wife and business partner, Darlene; his adult son, Vance; Raymond, the dog. View Guest page

Tune in to hear how she turned her life around and overcame many challenges. View Guest page

In 1995 Jonah White founded the Billy-Bob Teeth Company at his parent’s log cabin in rural Illinois. He used his entire savings of $400 to found the company. Jonah was living at home with his parents and did not own an automobile at the time. By 1998 the Billy-Bob Teeth Company had become the largest employer in Calhoun County Illinois, where it is still thriving today.
Jonah never forgot his roots and built his own log cabin over the hill from where he was raised. In addition to his 4 children and wife Renee (Honeybuns) the White household has hundreds of exotic animals ranging from highland cattle, horses, big horn sheep to a timber wolf and black bear (Nibbles). The entire ranch spans for more than 1,000 acres and was showcased on numerous publications and reality TV shows. Most recently, on the Discovery Channel’s “Billy-Bob’s Gags-to-Riches”.
