I am sure that many of you have experienced the unpleasant time in late January and early February when you are down with sniffles, fever, cough and worse. Most people attribute it to the stress of the holiday season, the cold winter weather, the financial stress we subject ourselves to in order to provide gifts and parties to our families, travel, and other causes. But I don't believe it! Over the years, I have often worked in close proximity with a work group of six or eight others, all of whom suffer during this period from "the flu that's going around". Since everyone has it, the assumption is that it is inevitable, universal and must be borne. NOT TRUE! Listen in and find out how to stay healthy during this period, and far beyond it. Illness is NOT inevitable. Our bodies are more than capable of keeping us healthy even in the worst winters, under the most stresses. We'll talk about that and more.

Howard Straus
Mr. Howard Straus, son of Charlotte Gerson and grandson of Dr. Max Gerson, graduated from MIT with a degree in physics. He was a US naval officer during the Viet Nam war and worked for many years as a computer systems analyst. Howard was Editor-in-Chief of the Gerson Healing Newsletter for ten years and authored an award-winning biography of Dr. Gerson called Dr. Max Gerson: Healing the Hopeless, published in 2002.
Howard was the founding Director of the Gerson Healing Center in Sedona, Arizona, that provided the Gerson Therapy directly to visitors from all over the world. Howard also served on the Board of the Gerson Institute for fifteen years and initiated their Worldwide Web presence during the earliest days of the Internet.
Mr. Straus founded Gerson Health Media that publishes the guidebooks for implementing Gerson Therapy and manages the rapidly expanding library of books and booklets being released around the world. Howard appears on radio, television and Internet interviews, and regularly speaks throughout the world.
