Episode Description

Are we educating students for the 20th Century or preparing them for the 21st Century? We know that digitalization, automation, computerization, networking and other key disciplines are necessary as we continue our journey into the Information Age. Advances brought on by innovations and technologies continue to change our lifestyle; at work or at play. What do we need to know to improve our own eco-system of learning? Today I have asked Dr. Edgar Leon to discuss three key questions on how to improve our technology learning. What should be our approach to integrate technology in the classroom. Recommendations and realities? How do we continue to develop problem solving in all of our schools? How to change the purpose of all education programs and use of technology? Join me, Jose Negron, your host on Today, Tomorrow’s Technologies show on the VoiceAmerica network the Variety Chanel at 9 am PST or noon EST. Discover the technologies and innovations that continue to change our lives.

Today, Tomorrow’s Technologies

Today, Tomorrow’s Technologies (T3) enables our scientists, engineers and innovators to establish a daily dialogue with a non-techy listener. This engagement will expand our understanding of how technology can impact our daily lives. The goal is to simplify, avoid the tech mystery and encourage the study or participation in these new disciplines. T3 benefits will answer the following questions:
a. What are the positive or negative impacts in the new technology?
b. When can these technologies impact our daily routine?
c. How can society benefit from these technologies?
T3 will cover a variety of engineering, scientific and future technologies. Topics include autonomous vehicles, disruptive products, cyber technologies, smart homes/devices, unmanned aerial vehicles, smart phone, now what?, space exploration/activities, electric technologies, energy/alternate energy, tech government vs commercial, technology in high schools, future robots, and the next inventions.
