He placed 1st in his graduating class at the Univ of Johannesburg and Cum Laude in Economics as number 2 at the University of South Africa. Alan Lectured in economics for an NGO. While he worked at the Gauteng Legislature he met many of South Africa’s most prominent political figures. He joined the London Pie Company was appointed as C.E.O. and sold the business for a massive profit. By that time it was one of the largest franchising companies in Africa. He secured the license to operate Virgin Cosmetics in South Africa, built it and then sold it back back to the Virgin Group. Barry and Alan discuss the problem of world hunger and the CREATIVE way Alan sees of solving the Issue. READY to CHEER!

In September 2004 he became a quadriplegic overnight from a rare disease. His journey to regain mobility pushed him to Go MAD (Make A Difference). Further, he attracted the talent to build systems that enable people to GIVE money to their favorite cause at little or no cost. The goal is giving one billion dollars by making every day giving effortless and meaningful.
