In many cases, leaders have been molasses-slow in changing their mindsets and adapting to major shifts in workforce demographics and the continuous need for talent development given the rapidly changing employee expectations and workplace dynamics. We need to develop a greater understanding of how our organization's culture is experienced differently by different segments of the workforce. The Industrial model that underpins most modern workplaces is no longer competitive with new and emerging models. An overhaul is long overdue, including ensuring --and measuring--the impact of inclusive leadership on people, the planet and profits.
